System Description
The pipeline 3 LPP 140C heat shrink coating system designed for corrosion protection of high temperature of straight pipes, fittings, bends, elbows and other irregular configurations, designed for a three layer field joint coating system for polypropylene coated pipeline and a three layer bend coating.
It consists thermoplastic hybrid adhesive and thick-wall irradiated cross linked polypropylene. When heated the backing layer shrinks and the adhesive flows and forms a reliable corrosion protection seal onto metal and adjacent coating surfaces.
Epoxy primer is a specially formulated 100% volume solid (solvent less) high temperature two component epoxy.
